It's okay to not
be okay.
A space to talk openly about mental health — from someone who lives with it every day.

A personal note
"Asking for help isn't weakness. It might be the bravest thing you ever do."
I want to be completely honest with you, because I think honesty is the only way we break the silence around mental health.
I have depression. I've been living with it for as long as I can remember, and I've been on medication to manage it for the last 12 years. That's not something I'm ashamed of — it's something I'm proud to talk about openly, because I know there are thousands of people out there suffering in silence, feeling like they should be able to handle it on their own.
You don't have to handle it on your own. I didn't. Getting help — whether that's therapy, medication, or simply picking up the phone and talking to someone — changed my life. It literally changed my life.
Making things with my hands, creating something from natural ingredients, has always been part of how I manage my own wellbeing. There's something grounding about it. But I also know that creativity alone isn't enough when you're in a dark place. Professional support matters.
If you're struggling right now — please reach out. To a friend, a family member, a doctor, or one of the services below. There are people who want to help you. I want to help you.
