"I started making skincare because I couldn't find anything gentle enough for my own family."
Made by Dermot began in a small kitchen in County Down, Northern Ireland. What started as a personal mission to create safe, gentle products for damaged and sensitive skin quickly grew into something much bigger.
Living with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, I knew first-hand how frustrating it was to find products that didn't irritate, sting, or make things worse. When our first baby arrived, the search for truly gentle skincare became even more urgent.
Our apothecary produces every product by hand in small batches right here in County Down. We use pure natural ingredients only — essential oils exclusively, never fragrance or perfume — and we're completely transparent about what goes into every product.
Our products are made especially for those who need extra care: babies and newborns with delicate skin, expectant mothers looking for pregnancy-safe options, and anyone living with eczema, psoriasis, or general skin sensitivity.
